This afternoon I walked out of my favorite coffee shop in Sausalito (@Cibo) and a caffeine-starved cyclist bumped right into me. My response "Oh sorry!" Even though I wasn't at fault, it was a reflex reaction and it got me to thinking about where we learned to apologize for everything?
